De La Nada…

De La Nada is the debut album of the group Rumberos del Callejón. Recorded in 2008, it presents a fusion of the best of both yesterday and today. A musical blend that combines the finest salsa from the '70s, '80s, and '90s, making it appealing to fans from all eras of this music genre.

Formed in 2006, Rumberos del Callejón brings together some of the best salsa exponents in its first album, including Wilmer Lozano, Rodrigo Mendoza, Marcial Istúriz, Edgard Dolor Quijada, Alberto Crespo, and Jose Sóto “mortadelo” from the Orquesta Bailatino, as well as the voice of Mariana “la sonera de Venezuela,” pianist Joel Uriola, trombonist Eliel Rivero, percussionist Carlitos Padrón in music production, and Carlos Padrón Sr. in direction.

Lo que yo tuve contigo, Sobreviví, and Ven Cariño became the iconic tracks of this first production, capturing the attention of music lovers and gradually increasing the number of followers of the group. This album also includes three compositions by the late Catalino “Tite” Curet Alonzo and “Chenchereguma” by Mr. Justi Barreto.
